Associate Specialist, Project Controls

Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional in project controls. Develops core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Records actual and committed cost and workhours, supports development of project variances, trending and analysis of commitments and expenditures and participates in development of the project forecast and cash flow. Assists with the administration of the change control process. Supports the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling. Supports coordination with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply. Supports identification of priorities for projects to guarantee completion. Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by supporting performance of schedule analysis. Position also may require accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level. Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
