SQL and Data Engineering • Write and maintain SQL queries using joins, CTEs, and window functions. Support query optimization and performance improvements. • Work within existing data models and warehouse structures to extract and transform data for reporting needs. • Document data logic and query definitions to support data validation and reconciliation efforts.
Forecasting and Reporting • Help enhance and maintain scenario models under guidance. Track and report on forecast accuracy. • Build and maintain dashboards and standard reports. Develop clear, accurate data visualizations following best practices. • Support QBR preparation and executive reporting. Contribute to automated reporting solutions.
What We Look For: • 2 or more years of experience in an analytics or data-focused role. • SQL proficiency including joins, CTEs, and window functions. You do not need to be a data engineer but you need to write and maintain real queries. • Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Redshift, and Databricks. • You use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT as a real part of your workflow, not as a novelty. • You are genuinely curious about data and what it means. When something looks off, you go find out why rather than waiting to be told. You ask questions before starting a project, not after. • Ability to gather and document business requirements, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to business case development. • Ability to present findings clearly, translate data outputs into plain-language summaries, and develop supporting materials for executive presentations. • Comfortable forming and testing hypotheses with guidance and developing critical and structured thinking skills. • Ability to identify patterns and trends in structured datasets, flag anomalies, and contribute observations that inform strategic recommendations.

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $75,000-$95,000 plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
