Responsibilities • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying best practices in data visualization and design principles. • Query and prepare data from Snowflake using SQL for visualization purposes. • Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data reporting frameworks and BI tools that enable consistency and scalability. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable solutions. • Support automation of reporting workflows using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Airflow. • Document visualization standards and best practices for maintainability and scalability.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics or related field. (MBA a plus) • 6-8 years of experience in Power BI, analytics • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) • Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization and automation. • Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting. • Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies. • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus points for: • • Experience in insurance, underwriting, claims, or actuarial domains. • Strategic planning and market intelligence expertise. • A track record of developing automated reporting and analytics solutions.
