Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to: Develop and Evolve Business Process Architecture • Design & maintain business process architecture to optimize abilities of people and systems • Maintain a holistic view of the firm’s processes and incorporate effective change management principles to align business strategy with operational execution across the data center lifecycle (e.g. development, leasing, operations, etc.) • Map key business capabilities & functions, identifying areas for integration, optimization, and innovation
Process Design & Optimization • Lead the development of complex cross-functional processes that span departments such as real estate, construction, sales, legal, finance, and operations • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and enable automation where possible
Prioritization of Functional Focus Areas • Identify and prioritize key functional domains based on business value, risk, and readiness • Create and maintain a roadmap for enterprise-wide process and capability enhancements
Change Management • Champion organizational change by articulating the value of new business processes, capabilities, and technology enablers • Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption of new processes, systems, and roles
Technology Alignment & Collaboration • Partner with IT development and architecture teams to ensure business requirements are translated effectively into technical solutions • Provide input into system design, integration efforts, and data architecture to support end-state business goals
Data and Key Performance Indicators • Understand and define high-level key performance indicators to illustrate continuous improvement within Edged • Understand reporting and analytics requirements for executive and operational decision-making • Work with IT teams to ensure alignment between business reporting needs
Skills & Requirements Education / Experience
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred • 8+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or strategic operations within complex organizations • Experience in the data center industry or broader critical infrastructure sectors preferred • Proven ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority • Strong background in process mapping, process maturity models, and business transformation • Experience collaborating with IT to select, architect and implement technical solutions • Deep understanding of the development, design and interconnected nature of cross functional business processes in a high-growth, matrixed environment • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and business capability modeling • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and organizational change best practices • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Experience with ERP, CRM, and Construction Management platforms
Specific Skills / Abilities • Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) • Familiarity with change management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR, etc.) • Proficiency with process mapping tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting platforms (Power BI or similar is a plus) • Skilled in developing strategies and roadmaps for process optimization and automation • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, across geographically distributed teams • Skilled in bringing large, cross-functional teams to consensus in alignment with strategic objectives • Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive initiatives • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent time-management and team delegation and leadership skills. • High proficiency, executive-level, written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
