Description

Hello! We're Teya. Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance. At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street. We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters. We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.

Become a part of our story. We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

About the position We are hiring a Key Account & Partnerships Leader to join our Outbound Sales team. This role will own both Key Accounts and Partnerships locally, combining people leadership with hands-on commercial ownership of strategic merchants and partners. The scope brings together two distinct areas: Key Accounts as an internal sales motion for larger merchants, and Partnerships as external relationship management with partners and bespoke commercial models. This is a high-impact commercial leadership role for someone who can build strong long-term relationships, lead a small team, and work cross-functionally to grow revenue, improve retention and create a strong experience for strategic merchants and partners.

What you will do • Lead and develop the Key Account & Partnerships team in Hungary, setting clear priorities, ways of working, and performance expectations

• Own the strategy, performance, and commercial growth of the Key Account & Partnerships portfolio

• Build and manage long-term relationships with strategic merchants and partners, acting as the senior commercial owner for key accounts

• Identify and drive growth opportunities, improve retention, and optimize portfolio profitability through regular business reviews and commercial initiatives

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships that strengthen Teya’s market position and create mutual value

• Coach the team, maintain high commercial standards, and use data-driven insights to guide decisions and track performance

What we are looking for • 5+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably in the fintech or technology sectors

• Previous people leadership experience, ideally in a sales, account management or partnership environment

• Proven ability to manage and grow complex commercial relationships

• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and ownership mindset

• Confidence working across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders at different levels

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data, portfolio insights and commercial metrics to drive action

• Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English

• A practical, structured and proactive way of working

The Perks • All You Can Move Sport Pass (XL)

• Szép Card (Gross 450.000 HUF yearly)

• Private health insurance

• 3 extra mental health days yearly

• Free monthly public transport passes or garage space at the office

• Office snacks every day

• Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in the heart of Buda

• Flexible working hours, as long it suits both you and your team

• Possibility to work in an international environment with colleagues all around the world

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work.
